How do I shop for the best insurance rate?

 

The quick answer is. . .

 

You Don't!

Your best bet is to shop for the best representative and let him/her do the job for you. The underwriters will only quote a risk once, so you can't get a better rate by going to someone else. You can however, be stuck with a representative who doesn't live up to your standards of service.

So, do your homework, interview representatives, select someone you like and are confident can do a good job for you. . .

 

and let him do his job!
